J. Elwood Hilton
J. Elwood Hilton died in the home of his sister, Mrs. Viola Martin, one mile south of New Holland, on Thursday night at 11 o'clock, after an illness of three days of paralysis, age 67 years. The following brothers and sisters survive: George, Gap, R. F. D. No. 1; Mrs. Amos Myers, Mrs. Viola Martin, New Holland, R. F. D.; Mrs. Eliza Myers, Miss Emma Hilton, Los Angeles, Cal. He was a member of the Knights of the Golden Eagle, New Holland, and Odd Fellows' Lodge, of New Holland. Brief funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the home of Mrs. Martin followed by services at 2:30 in Pequea Presbyterian church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
