LOVICE M. RIND, 82, of 1928 Green Meadow Lane, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Homewood Retirement Center. Born in Stanley, Va., she was the daughter of the late Jacob G. and Susan A. Walker Offenbacker. Her husband, LeRoy S. Rind, Sr., died in 1981.
She retired as assistant housekeeper from the Washington County Hospital after 29 years of service.
She is survived by two daughters, Wetenna J. Carbaugh, Hagerstown; and Shirley L. Smith, Lebanon, Pa.; one son, Leroy S. Rind, Jr.; two sisters, Irene Offenbacker, Winchester, Va.; and Dorothy Broyles, Waynesboro, Pa.; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Rest Haven Cemetery. Arrangements by the Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home.
