Granville Geronimo "Ronny" Martin II, 82, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, after a long struggle with cancer. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Memory Gardens in Parker County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ronny was born March 9, 1936, in Stamford to the late Granville G. Martin Sr. and Dorothy Lou Ella Hearn Martin. He had a passion for trucking. He loved his family; old western movies; poker; cows; horses; his dogs, Jasmine and Jolene; collecting guns; auctions; and always in search of a good deal. Ronny was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Walter Dale and Russell Wayne Martin; grandsons, Granville Geronimo Martin IV and Robert William Walter Ellisworth Martin. Ronny is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jannette Roseberry Martin; his children, Granville Geronimo "Randy" Martin III and his wife, Judy, of Reno, Robert Keith Martin of Springtown, Tonya Ferguson and husband, Danny, of Mansfield; sisters, Jane Roseberry, Jackie Davis and husband, Dale; grandsons, Shad, Mark, Steven, Zachary, Keith, Joshua and Gabriel Martin, Tommy Stevens and David Ferguson; granddaughters, Marie Mistie and Hannah Martin, Heather Young, Amber Stanford, Tammy Taylor and Shantel Pruitt; 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
