Services for Buford Souter Chappell Jr., 58, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Martin's-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Children's Hospital at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Chappell died Wednesday, November 10, 1999. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Dr. Buford S. Chappell Sr. and Marjorie Cooper Chappell. He retired from AT&T after 29 years of service and was an Army veteran. He was a member of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church.
