Marcella Mae Gerschutz, 85, of Holgate, passed away on June 26, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital.

She was born on January 1, 1930 to Jacob and Sarah (Wagner) Rozevink in Standley, OH. Marcella worked as a homemaker, housekeeper, and for Campbell's Soup for 20 years. Enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking, feeding her birds, and daily devotional time spent reading her bible.

She was a member of the New Bavaria VFW Post 8847 and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Florida, Ohio.

Marcella is survived by her son Gerald (Crystal) Gerschutz, of Holgate, daughters, Gloria Brown of Holgate, Debra (Ken) Ott of Defiance, Dianne (Bruce) Hefflinger of Defiance, and Pam Shelton of Kingsport, TN, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren. A brother, Clarence Rozevink, of Wauseon, and a sister, Elsie Rozevink, of Holgate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kenneth Gerschutz, and daughters, Patricia Niese, and Cheryl Alvord, a grandson Trevor Addington, and a great-granddaughter, Kiera Duncan.

Visitation will be held at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio from 4-8 pm on Monday and one hour prior to services at the Church on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Florida with Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating.

Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Church or to a charity of the donors choice.
