ORANGEBURG - Services for Gladys E. Preston, 65, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Mount Olive Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Bamberg Memorial Gardens . The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Carroll Mortuary is in charge.
Mrs. Preston died Monday. Born in Bamberg County , June 6, 1933, she was a daughter of the late George and Addie Mae Thompson.
Surviving are her daughters, Anita B. Hill, Gwendolyn Walker; sisters, Susan Williams, Ernestine Perdue, Addie Gant; brother, Willie J. Thompson; two grandchildren
