Kelly was a blind and deaf 14+ year old toy poodle when she was dropped off at a dog pound in December 2004. After seeing Kelly for adoption online in January 2005, she soon became ours to love and cherish.
Kelly got around the house great. We put up a gate at both staircases and she was safe and sound. She let you know when she wanted something. She was bossy and we loved it.
The foster parents, from the rescue group who pulled her from the dog pound, named her Kelly. We called her "Babe." We have so many good memories and photos of our Babe.
We didn't know her birth date, so I selected a day to call her birthday. Kelly was a true blessing to love. She was peacefully put to sleep when her health declined. Her ashes are placed in our back yard along with our other dogs.
