Ruth LaVonne Brink, 97, Sturgeon, MO, passed away peacefully with her son by her side, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia, MO. She was born October 16, 1920 in Clark, MO the daughter of the late Leonard and Onah (Long) Jennings. On June 30, 1940 she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Brink. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2000.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Larry Brink of Sturgeon, MO; two grandchildren Nikki Larimore and her husband Rob and Darren Brink and his wife Stephanie; five great grandchildren Jessica, Marie, Stephen, Shelby and Madelyn; one great great grandson Finley; a daughter in law Kay Brink of Sturgeon, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, one son Delmar Brink, one sister Wilhelma Frandson and two brothers Valeska and Hubert Jennings preceded her in death.
Ruth was a homemaker and was a member of the Sturgeon United Methodist Church. She loved taking day trips with her son, antiques and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment was in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation was from 1:00 pm until service time on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO.
