The Coast lost 131 lives during Hurricane Camille and 41 are still unaccounted for. Three remain unidentified and have been named Faith, Hope and Charity. It is a custom that after funerals, flower sprays that are left are placed on their graves. The Church of the Redeemer in Biloxi was totally destroyed except for its bell tower. One of three unknown victims of Hurricane Camille. Died August 17, 1969. Located in Pass Christian on August 20, 1969. The three were found together in an apartment complex. It is believed that they knew each other and were possibly friends.
