Glenda Burns, age 76, of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of Caney Creek Baptist Church. Glenda was a retired beautician, and was the owner/operator of Carousel Beauty Salon in Rogersville for 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Willie F. Lipe; mother, Velma M. Lipe; infant son, Michael Amis.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Phillip R. Burns; daughters, Robin Bradshaw (Phil), Christy King, Tammy Harris (Drew), Theresa Breedlove (Gary); son, Phillip R. Burns, Jr (Dona); grandchildren, Matthew Moore (Tina), Micheal Moore, Hannah Burns, Elia Burns, Zach Henderson, Robbie Linkous (Amy), Josh Linkous (Natalie), Amanda Dishner (Jon), Lindsey Stinnett, Benjamin Breedlove (Lauran), Joe Breedlove (Hillarey), Dustin Breedlove (Whitney), Zac Breedlove (Julia); 17 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Blair (Ralph); brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mack and Lynn Burns; special nephews, Ralph Blair, Jr (Angie) and Stanley Blair (Marty); and several nieces and nephews; and her very special four legged buddy, Harley.
At her request, a private gathering for her family will be held at the home of Tammy Harris.
