Mrs Christ Halvorson
Taylor, WI - Mrs Christ Halverson, 91, died early today at her home in Taylor.
She was born in Norway to Mr and Mrs Martin Hendrickson Sather and came to the US in 1904 living at Blair and Taylor area. She has resided in Taylor the last ten years.
Survived by sons
1. Omar of Milwaukee,
2. Casper and
3. Einar of Taylor, and
4. Robert of Edgerton; daughters
5. Leva, Mrs Archie Hanson of Taylor,
6. Mrs Hulda Norman, and
7. Mrs Rachael Oppegaard of Evanston, IL; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren, a sister Hulda, Mrs Mike T Olson of (Taylor and) Milwaukee. A son Sigurd died in 1951. A sister Julia Gaarder died in 1932 in Taylor. A brother Martin Sather died in Vernon County in 1945.
Funeral Thursday at Taylor Lutheran Church the Rev BJ Hatlem officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
