In the vicinity of East Liberty these terrible dull times are not realized, at least one would think so by passing that way, as D. Wyer has built a fine large buggy house and fixing up his residence in fine shape.

No encouraging reports has been received from the sick chamber of David Wyer, and all hopes of his recovery are abandoned by his family and friends.

Uncle David Wyer, one of the most highly respected citizens of Monroe township, passed from this world to that beyond the grave, at his home near East Liberty Thursday last. Mfr. Wyer was an influential christian and a member of the Shiloh M.E. class, of which he has been leader for several years. The funeral was preached at Shiloh Saturday morning and the remains were interred in the Flat Rock cemetery.
