Services for Laverne Barwick Johnson, age 80, of East Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Carters Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, October 7, 2018.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of East Dublin Assembly of God, but attended Faith Christian Family Worship Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family and enjoyed cooking. Mrs. Johnson retired from Forstmann.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Mazie Lee Reese Barwick.
