Indianapolis - Carl R. Auberry, 86, passed away October 5, 2018. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Carl was a Retired Stock Chaser for Allison's GM. He was also a proud Korean War Veteran of the US Army. Carl was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching IU Basketball games, playing euchre, gardening, fishing and in his younger days, was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda L. Ainscough Auberry; parents, Austin and Lela Colbert Auberry; sisters, Betty Gordon and Mickey Thatcher; brothers, Bob and Ronnie Auberry. He is survived by his children, Rick (Amy) Auberry, Rodney (Linda) Auberry, Debra (Tom) Loudermilk and Mark (Pat) Auberry; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be 1pm Thursday October 11, 2018 at Conkle Funeral Home Avon with visitation 11am-1pm before the Service. Burial will take place in Lincoln Memory Gardens. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE AVON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
