FRANKTON — Marina (Harper) Cox, 71, Frankton, died May 13, 2007, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus, Anderson.
Born March 20, 1936, in Frankton, the daughter of George and Marie Pauline (Elsner) Harper, she was a lifelong Frankton resident. She married C.O. Cox on May 18, 1957, and he died Oct. 24, 2004. She started working at Harper's Furniture Store for her dad at the age of 9.
She graduated from Frankton High School in 1954 and attended Indiana University Medical Center for her training as an X-ray technician. She worked for Harper's Furniture Store for 10 years before owning and operating Harper Window Treatment in Frankton from 1987-2004.
She was a past member of Frankton Eastern Star, Delta Theta Tau Sorority Alumni and the Frankton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rob (wife, Barbara) Cox of Noblesville, and Mark (wife, Donna) Cox of Athens, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Rachel, Justin and Danny Cox; two sisters, Flora Louise "Flo" (husband, Bill) Anderson and Millicent "Millie" (husband, Robert) Harrison, all of Frankton; one brother, John (wife, Carolyn) Harper of Anderson; sister-in-law, Bonnie Harper of Frankton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Kevin Cox.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frankton United Methodist Church with the Revs. Gary Elsten and Alvin Covell officiating. Burial will be in K of P-IOOF Cemetery in Frankton.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, Frankton. Delta Theta Tau Sorority will conduct a memorial service at 6 p.m. today.
