Emilio P. Acosta, 85 of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 surrounded by his family at his residence in Odessa.
Visitation will be held 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm in Andrews North Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Emilio was born on March 11, 1933 to Zulema and Marcos Acosta in El Mulato, Chihuahua Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sons Emilio Acosta Jr. and Ruben Acosta.
Emilio is survived by his wife of 68 years, Agripina A. Acosta, two sons Arturo Acosta and Jaime (Joanna Florez) and two daughters, Luz Armida Elizardo (Porfilio) and Sulema (Hipolito) Jaquez and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Emilio is also survived by sisters; Rosa Elma Vasquez of Andrews, Consuelo Lujan and Lydia Molinar both of Odessa.
