Fellow Chopper Pilot, We Served Together. I was at Camp Evans when it was announced that there had been an accident the night before and Alan had been taken from us. Although I didn't know you well I mourned as did everyone during the service they had for you. My thoughts are with you always and may God bless you always. CW2 Peter J. Harris.

Fellow Phoenix Pilot. I was a fellow Phoenix pilot with Al. His loss hurt me terribly. Although we were not real close, I felt close to him because we both celebrated the birth of our first children together. Words alone can not express the pain I still feel about that. Gary Sherman, 6184 Lakeshire Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
