Ina Lavonne Humphrey 82 of Nampa, Idaho passed away October 4, 2018 at home under hospice care. A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, in Boise. Pastor Duane Buhler will officiate and Pastor Monty Sears and Debbie Hershey will also speak.
Lavonne was born Dec 17, 1935 to Bonnie and Dick Hudson. She was raised in and went to school in Westport, Oregon. She graduated Clatskanie high school in Clatskanie, Oregon in 1952. On April 11th, 1953 she married Don Humphrey. Lavonne worked as a strawberry field supervisor at Ernest Strawberry fields and in a Brocks Candle Factory in Scappoose, Oregon. During the Vietnam War she packaged food for the soldiers. In 1989 she moved with her husband to Emmett, Idaho where they ran a fruit orchard for 12 years. They both retired from the fruit orchard and moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1999. Lavonne attended Christian Faith Center for 19 years.
Ina is survived by her husband Don of Nampa; their 4 children and their spouses; Don Jr. and Mary Humphrey, Fruitland, Idaho; Mike and Leslie Humphrey, Weiser, Idaho; Debbie Hershey, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tami and Rod Lewno, Nampa, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Lavonne is also survived by her one brother, Richard Hudson and his wife Linda Hudson.

In remembrance of Lavonne's name memorial contributions may be sent to St. Luke's Hospice, 190 E. Bannock St., Boise, ID 83712 or Mountain State Tumor Institute, 308 E. Hawaii Ave., Nampa, Idaho 83686.

The family wants to thank the entire staff from St. Luke's Hospice for their love and care that was given to Ina and her family in her last few weeks of her earthly life.
