Stalled Driver Killed Trying To Signal Help
Grant Park, Ill., April 13 (AP) A motorist trying to flag down passersby to aid him with his stalled automobile was struck and killed today by an automobile which Coroner David Wood said did not stop after the accident. The dead motorist was Alfred W. Adamczyk, 28, of Chicago. His car was stalled near here on the Dixie highway when he was struck. Wood said authorities are seeking a car or truck with a dented fender and a broken headlight. Grant Park is near Kankakee.
