Ida Blanche Bottema-Puckett, 93, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2018. Ida was born on July 3, 1925 in Shelby County, Indiana as the daughter of Cline and Leona Allen.
In Ida’s spare time she loved to play cards and enjoyed ballroom dancing. She was a member of the Red Hatters, the Shrine Guild, and the Continental Dance Club. Ida was known as a very strong, caring, and loving person. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond C. Bottema; second husband, Allen Puckett; daughter, Gertrude Bottema; son-in-law, Wayne Riddle; and brother Gordan Allen.
She is survived by her daughters: Christina (Roger) Johanningsmeier, Ra Jeanne (Ralph) Gossman, Karen Riddle; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
