Wilbert Earnest Banks was born on September 24, 1941 in Grapeland, Texas to George Earnest Banks and LaConia Moore-Banks. He was the oldest of 6 siblings.
As my brother, I always saw him as a giant but he was a gentle and humble man . My brother was a giving man and did so many things for our family to even attempt to count. I was the youngest of the 6 siblings so I always looked up to him with great respect. He loved to travel in the latter part of his life, but even when traveling we could always look for a birthday or mother’s day card. So much I could say about my brother, but the most important is I miss him, but God knew best to let him rest.
