Atlanta, Texas - Flora Counts Burleson, 84, of Atlanta, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1993, in Atlanta.
Mrs. Burleson was born May 27, 1908, in Titus County, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Burleson, who died March 18, 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Rhyne and Jerri Barrington of Atlanta; one son, Carrel E. Burleson of Atlanta; two brothers, Isaac C. "Sam" Counts of Queen City, Texas, and John H. Counts of Linden, Texas; four sisters, Jackie Rogers and Annie Jo Counts of Odessa, Texas, Della Robertson of Austin, Texas, and Mable Hall of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. today (Feb. 9, 1993) at Hanner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Fore officiating. Burial will be in Beech Creek Cemetery near Atlanta.
