Robert Rea Rettino, 97, of Manchester, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sept. 16, 2018.
A memorial service will take place at Ocean County Cremation, 1252 Rte. 37 West, Toms River, NJ, at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018.
Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Richard Pobuta of Manchester; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Castellano of Manchester; grandson, Richard Pobuta, and grandson and his wife, Robert and Jennifer Rettino III. His one surviving brother is Vincent Rettino, 101, of Red Bank, NJ. He leaves two great-grandchildren, Christian Pettersen and Giana Rettino.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marion Rettino; his son, Robert Rea Rettino Jr., and his grandson, Christian Miller.
Marion and Robert Rettino were married on Feb. 16, 1947, and resided and raised their family in Union, NJ.
After retirement he and his wife moved to Bayonet Point, Fla., and resided there for 25 years. Just last October, they moved back to New Jersey to live with their daughter and son-in-law in Manchester.
