Daniel Harrington, 80, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from the results of a single vehicle accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at Saint Stanislaus Church with Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at Saint Stanislaus Church.

Dan was born August 19, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Della (Quinn) Harrington.
Dan married Theresa (Clemens) Harrington and she is preceding him in death. He then married Clara Bradford Harrington and she is also preceding him in death.
Surviving are seven children; Janet (Dan) Farmer, Martin Harrington, Daniel M. (Elana) Harrington, Rick (Toni) Bradford, Tren Bradford, Trilla Sue (Stan) Penziol and Kevin Bradford; eleven grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Kaleigh, Jake, Eric, Trentis, Locus, Jon, Sarah, Katie and Beth; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Francita Meloch and Margaret (Greg) Wagner; one brother, Edward Harrington and many nieces and nephews.
Dan is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann; and six brothers; Gabriel, Thomas, James, Michael, Jerome and David.
He was retired from CSX Railroad. After retirement he went to work for Purdue North Central doing maintenance for them.
He was a member of the Saint Joseph Young Men's Society and Saint Stanislaus Church. He was a very generous person with sharing his time and talents with others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
