Bessie Wayne Walker, 75, was born in Bon Wier, Texas on March 14, 1943 to Jessie and Hazel Alfred. She passed away in Pocatello, Idaho on September 27, 2018 while on vacation visiting her family. Bessie is preceded in death by her parents; children, Perry L. Walker, Tonya A. Walker and Tina M. Whaley; 10 siblings; grandchild, Daniel Walker; great grandchild, Cadyen Labonville. She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Walker; siblings, Dorothy Lyman, Adrian Alfred, Titus Alfred and Jessie Alfred; children, Samuel Spears and wife Michelle, Brenda Blair, Kamm-Melia Walker, Roy L. Flowers, Cindy Anderson and husband Greg, Keith Walker and Richard D. Walker; 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at East River Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas beginning at 2:00pm. The interment will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery in Conroe, Texas around 4:30pm.
