Jane L. Vincenza Jaworski Easler, of Connellsville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2001, in Highlands Hospital. Jane was born in Dalton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Calogero and Gaetana DeMarco Spotto. She was a member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers. She was retired from the Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., where she was employed as a selector for 33 years. She graduated from Durbin's Secretarial School, having majored in business typing and filing. Jane was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie 493 and the Senior Tigers, both in Connellsville. She also enjoyed playing bridge and bocci (lawn bowling) at the Sons of Columbus Club. Jane is survived by her children, Charles Jaworski, Leo Jaworski and Anna Marie Festa, all of Cleveland, Ohio, Dolores Kean of Norvelt and Donna Jean Jaworski of Euclid, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leo W. Jaworski and Joseph E. Easler; four brothers, Peter (Ignazio), Joseph, Samuel and Michael Spotto; and three sisters, Lucy Spicola, Mildred Hopko and Angeline Welsh. Friends will be received today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Francis Lesniowski as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Rita Cemetery. The St. Rita parish and its Christian Mothers will hold a wake service Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Some records say she was born October 13, 1912. We always celebrated it November 18.
