HYRUM, Cache County - George Alfred (Sid) Anderson, 85, died Tuesday in a Logan hospital after a short illness. Born September 22, 1873, Hyrum to Christian C. and Ellen Pehrson Anderson. Married Amanda Transtrom December 7, 1904.
Lifetime Hyrum resident. Cattleman; president Lions Club.
Survivors: widow; daughter, Mrs. Dalla (Helen) Jensen; five grandchildren, one brother.
Funeral Friday, 1 p.m. Hyrum Third Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
