Beth Marie Thompson Carroll, 69, passed away Aug. 22, 1987 in Bountiful, Utah.
Born Nov. 2, 1917 in Logan, to Israel Ernest and Anna Marie Swensen Thompson. She grew up in Chesterfield, Idaho and Bountiful, Utah. She graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. Married Clarence John Carroll Dec. 10, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Member of the LDS Church and a member of the Bountiful 3rd Ward. She was a Primary and Relief Society work. Managed several dry-cleaners and laundromats for many years. She loved the outdoors and fishing.
Survivors: husband, Clarence, son Stephen, daughters, Diann, and Linda, all of Bountiful; son, Douglas T. (Kay), Nephi; daughter, Mrs. Dan J. (Marsha) Hatch, Farmington; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Robert (Pamela) Anderson, Kingsburg Calif.; Mrs. Fred (LeNore) Smedley, Mrs. Earl (Gwen) Chatterley, Mrs. Jack (Connie) Bangerter, all of Bountiful. Preceded in death by parents, infant sisters, Fillmore May and Erma Loveland Thompson; sisters, Evelyn Vilate Mackie; Laura LaVon McClellen; Ernetta Loveland Bikker; and a brother E. Paul (Janet) Thompson.
Funeral services Wednesday Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. in the Bountiful Tabernacle. Friends may call Tuesday Aug. 25 from 6-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
