The funeral of Herman Draeger, Jr., whose accidental wounds proved fatal last Tuesday, were held this afternoon from the home, 323 Superior avenue, at 1:30 o'clock and from the Trinity Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. Rev. C.P. Schulz spoke at the obsequies and extolled the virtues of the young man. Interment was made in the Wildwood cemetery.
Found another article from Nov 6, 1917 that said Herman Draeger was accidently shot while duck hunting. He had been carrying his gun by the barrel while going through the weeds and it was accidently discharged.
