Hadley – At her home in Lincoln township, on March 9th, 1882, of cancer, Mrs. Martha H. Hadley, wife of P. P. Hadely, aged 44 years, 1 month and 9 days. Mrs. Hadley was born in Warren County, Ohio, in 1839, and was married in 1858. She came to Kansas with her husband in 1869, where she has ever since resided. She leaves six children and her husband to mourn her loss. Always attentive to home duties, and of a kindly disposition, she earned the love of everyone. She will be missed by neighbors as well as by her own family, for she was not only a loving wife and mother, but a sincere friend to all.
