Services for Jurless Rex Cutbirth ,72, Protem, were held Friday in Salem Church near Ocie with the Rev. Allen Ledbetter officiating. Burial was near Protem under the Kissee Mortuary, Forsyth.
Mr. Cutbirth died at 6:35 a.m. Sept 4 in Aurora Community Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; two sons, J.R., Santa Rosa, Texas, and Dwight, Taneyville; two daughters, Lela Simmons, Gridley, Calif., and Evelyn Dillion, Aurora; two brothers, Ray, Protem, and Gean, Branson; two sisters, Cuma Cowin and Nadine Cleaver, both of Ocie; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
