Jack Louis Hendricks, 80, of Woodlawn passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home.

He was born on July 10, 1938 in Camden, Arkansas, to James William and Mary Ellen Hendricks.

Mr. Hendricks retired from International Paper Company with forty years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing but was well known for his storytelling. Jack will be remembered for being a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ellen Bates, Dorothy Walker and Mildred Silliman.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of forty years, Vanita Hendricks; children, Mary Hendricks, Karen Ledwich, Jack Hendricks III (Carri), Margie Arens and Chris Hendricks (Kristen); grandchildren, Rhett, Jack, Jessica, Michi, Danielle and Mia; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Sandy Holman (Stan), Bill Hendricks and Kay Hamilton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Danny Allen officiating and Lance Allred sharing family memories.

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Beatty, Kevin Beatty, Roger Phillips, Noah Allred, Jeff Allred and Lee Allred.

Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
