Dennis was a wonderful man. He was a son, brother, husband, father and uncle. He was a handsome man standing 6'2" tall, weighing about 180 pounds. His eyes were brown and his hair was dark blond. Dennis was born at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He attended the Whiteland, Indiana schools, graduating from Whiteland High School. He attended Lincoln Technical School in Indianapolis and trained as a mechanic. Dennis married Martha Jane Richey in July of 1974. They have two daughters, Angela Dawn and Crystal Lee. Dennis Lynn Knox Jr. was born in 1994 and was the apple of his Dad's eye. Dennis enjoyed racing go karts as well as USAC Midgets at Speedrome Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was flagman at Whiteland Raceway Park on Front Street in Whiteland, Indiana. Those who knew him loved him dearly.
