“Randall (sic) Crowder, the eleven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Crowder, of Covington, R.R. 1, died Sunday morning, at the St. Elizabeth hospital in Danville, Illinois, from mastoiditis. He is survived by his parents; three sister, Viola, Laura Jane and Barbara Sue; three brothers, Everett Wayne and Wandall, his twin, and his grandmother, Mrs. Laura Woods, all living south of Covington.
Funeral services were held at Stringtown Church of God at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made at Coal Creek cemetery.” – April 2, 1936
