Our mother was a blessing to her family and all who knew her. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and was so proud of each and every one of them. She was part of countless birthdays, graduations, weddings, school and sporting events, only stopping in recent years when her health prevented. She could sew, bake, or make anything, had a fabulous sense of humor, and loved her Astros. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Angleton, Texas and looked forward to Wednesdays with the quilting group where she had many special friends. She also enjoyed seeing the world with her friend and best travelling buddy, Sue Neill. Her neighbors and coffee buddies also brought her much joy and friendship. Our hearts are broken, but we are comforted in knowing that she is at last reunited with our Daddy, who she missed so much every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bryan Frederick Williamson; brothers Bill Taylor and wife Nan; Bobby Taylor and wife Bobbee Dee; and brother-in-law L.C. Williamson.
Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law Fred and Janelle Williamson; daughters and sons-in-law Janis and Michael Burwell and Susan and John Woods; grandchildren April Williams and husband Clint; Kaysie Hastings; John Burwell and wife Tracy Jo; Karen Lewis and husband Kadon; Julie Booth and husband Jared; and Bryan Woods. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Reganne Lambert, Grace Lambert, Carley Williams, Collin Williams, Drew Williams, Kara Williams, Kevin Williams, Keira Hastings, Tristan Hastings, Jonah Burwell and Harrison Lewis.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers at K’s Place who took such great care of our mother during her stay.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 29, at First United Methodist Church of Angleton at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield Texas.
