History. Julian was born to Jacob and Annie Christensen Miller in Farmington, Utah. He was the 4th child of 5 in the family of 5. At the age of 4, he rode a horse and did farm work on his father's farm. He rode the Bamburger train to Salt Lake City to attend the LDS High School with his sister, Elna. His older brother, Royal was his teacher in woodwork there and he built 6 oak chairs. He went to college at the AC now USU at Logan. He majored in Ag. and Business. He was an Officer in the 1st World War. He later married Lelah Wright and lived in Farmington, Utah. He was the 1st counselor to Bishop Welch. He was assigned to remodel the old rock church. He commissioned an artist, Lynn Fausett to draw a mural on the wall of the chapel of the 1st Primary that was organized there in 1876. Many of the pictures are his aunts and uncles and his grandfather, Mads Christensen. He was the father of 3 girls, Katherine, Carolyn and Orlean and 14 grandchildren. They moved to Idaho, where he bought a farm in Kilgore and Roberts. He was the Mayor of Roberts, Pres. of the Rotarians. He and Lelah served missions together. He was always the first to bear his testimony each month. He loved to read and encouraged his family to get a good education. His family was his life!
