Vincil Aeschbacher, age 76, of Fortuna, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at his home. He was born November 3, 1941, in Moniteau County, a son of the late Earl Monroe and Alice (Baumgartner) Aeschbacher. On September 23, 1967, at the Versailles First Assembly of God Church, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Sharon (Kreiling) Aeschbacher.

Vincil spent many years managing operations of his dairy farm. Later years led him to be employed at Gates Corporation in Versailles, Missouri, until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, farming, repairing anything his children asked of him, and spending time with his grandchildren. He especially loved attending their sporting events or dropping a line in the water with them. Vincil was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church.

In addition to his wife of fifty-one years, he is survived by a son, a daughter, five grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, several nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and sister, Carolyn Sue Crocker.
