The funeral of Mrs. Theodocia Zike was largely attended. Many friends and relatives were here from Harrodsburg, Bloomington and the country around.

The six small children left motherless by her death will find homes among the families of Mrs. Zikes' brothers, the Wooden boys, and her mother, Mrs. Nan Wooden. Her eldest son, Harvey Crowell, came from North Dakota to be with her in her last illness.

Mrs. Docia, Wooden Zikes 40 years of age died of childbed fever. She was the wife of Samuel Zikes, a quarryman and lived in Sanders she leaves six small children who were divided up among her brothers the funeral was held at the Methodist Church Wednesday morning in charge of Rev. Norman and undertaker Daniels.
