OBITUARY
MRS. OLIVE P. PARKE
Deep regret was felt in Maryborough yesterday morning when news was received of the death of Mrs. Olive Petrine Parke, who passed away at her home, John-street, after a short illness. Born at Maryborough Mrs. Parke was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Selves, of John-Street Maryborough. The late Mrs. Parke received her education at the Central State School and the Girls's Grammar SchooL She was an ardent member of the Wesley Church and of the Young People's Society, where she was most popular and held in high esteem. She is survived by a husband. Mr. H. R. Parke and two children Shirley Olive and Brian Richard. Two sisters Misses Adeline and Elsie Selves, also survive. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the Wesley Church.
The service at the church was largelv attended by members of the church and a large re resentative gathering of friends. The Rev. F. A. Malcolm officiated. Many floral tributes were received.
