Services for Martha Burt will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 10 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Father Augustine Palimattam and Father Darnis Salvanayaka officiating.
Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burt, 88, died Monday, September 24, 2018, at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.
She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Longino Community.
She was a retired salesperson and worked for Dees Department Store for numerous years. Mrs. Burt was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Philadelphia.
Survivors include
three sons, Danny Burt (Rosie), Steve Burt (Vicky), and Stan Burt (Betty Renee), all of Philadelphia;
seven grandchildren, Matt Burt (Julie), David Burt (Keena), Melanie Walton (Eric), Mandy Tullos (Byron), Hanna Burt, Josh Burt (Christina), and Laura Walley (Justin);
fifteen great-grandchildren; Jackson, Raegan, Olivia, Maddie, Quinn, Milly, Katie, Carter, Kodi (Colt), Landon, Sadie, Micah, Ryan, Zach Steven;
great-great-grandson, Fenton Clark;
sisters, Betty Burt of Philadelphia, Donna Breedlove of Charleston, S. C.; and
a host of nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by
husband, Clark Burt;
and many sisters and brothers.
