Enoch Noah Rimer's mother died when he was a year and 5 months old and is buried in the Enoch Ward Cemetery on Buck Mountain, Grayson County, Virginia. He was about five years old when he moved with father to Hawkins County, Tennessee, during the Civil War.
Enoch Noah Rimer married in Hawkins County and did not move to Texas with his father (a Baptist minister), stepmother and younger half siblings in the mid 1880s. He only saw his father one time after that. (information from Blanche Keating Collie (member # 47962376)
