Rachel Hughes Accilli of Cornwall, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was 46.

The daughter of the late William and Evelyn Kaiser Hughes, she was born on October 21, 1971 in Natchez, MS. Rachel graduated from Cathedral High School in Natchez, MS in 1989, and from Mississippi University for Women in 1993. She was a proud member of the Troubadour Social Club and the Jester Social Club at MUW. She was a former employee of the Town of Cornwall Recreation Dept., and a parishioner of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church.

Rachel was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include: her loving husband, Stephen; daughter Hannah; sister Sarah Hamilton and husband Noah; brother William and wife Kristin; sisters-in-law: Terry Barnes and husband Gary; Kim Kaiser; and Linda Carpino and husband Joe; plus several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and by her brother-in-law Sheldon Kaiser.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 24 at 10am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers , the family requests that donations in Rachel’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
