Burl was my step father. He was born and raised in Shelby county Missouri. Dad grew up on a farm near Maud, MO. He had several jobs over the years, delivered propane, drove a school bus, delivered mail on horseback at one time. He married Mom in 1965 and they divorced in 2003. In Austin Tx, he worked for the city in the power and light dept for 21 years, retiring in 1986. Dad and I never saw eye to eye on anything. Not sure why. Cause of death - bowel obstruction and sepsis
