PITMAN Loriot D. Bozorth, 42, of 534 Wayne ave., died yesterday at his home. He was registrar of Glassboro State College. Born in Woodbury, he was a resident of Pitman 13 years and prior to that lived in Gloucester City where his father, Loriot Bozorth Jr., was pastor of First Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Bozorth was a member of Pitman Baptist Church, the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association. He was a 1947 graduate of Glassboro College and was awarded his master's degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1948. In June of this year, the campus at Glassboro was renamed for him and he also was voted the outstanding alumnus of the college for this year. Surviving are his wife, Edith W.; a son, Glenn L., and a daughter, Loreen Ann, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Harriet L. Bozorth, and a sister, Mrs. Roberta L. Thompson, both of Pitman. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Pitman Baptist Church where friends may call prior to the services. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken.
