Last Rites Held for Floyd Strayer

Funeral rites were held Monday, Nov 21 at 1 p.m. at the First Methodist Church for Floyd L. Strayer. Rev Jay Funk officiated. Mr. Strayer was born June 18, 1886 in Iowa. The son of Perry and Rose Ellen (Leinbaugh) Strayer and the grandson of Martin and Rachel (Raylla) Strayer. He passed away November 18 at the Wagner Hospital.
Mrs. Donald McGuire and Patricia Nohr supplied the music during the service.
Committal services were held at 2:30 p.m at the cemetery in Bonesteel. Pallbearers were Pete Buus, Bud Bromert, Bill Bromert, Ed Denker, Rudy Lhotak and Emanuel Havranek.
Rev Harold James was in charge of the burial services. Crosby Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
