Virginia Ann Clevenger passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 at Circle of Life with her sister at her side.
She was born December 22, 1932 in Western Grove, Arkansas to Burl and Dessie Criner Jones.

Virginia was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. She started the Baptist School of Nursing in Northwest Arkansas and the first E.M.T. and Paramedic school in the area. She was the Director of Education at Springdale Memorial Hospital and spent over 25 years teaching multiple programs. Virginia was presented with countless awards and honors and helped with The Jones Scholarship for those interested in becoming a Nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl Clevenger and brother Ward Jones.

Survivors include her brother John Jones of Beebe, Arkansas; two sisters, Carolyn Trammell and husband Roy of Springdale; Billie Stewart of Fayetteville; Niece Debbie Baylock of Springdale; nephew Kelton Trammell of Tennessee; and great niece Jami Lee.

A funeral service will take place at Sisco Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 20th starting at 2pm with Pastor Don Warford officiating.
