Vickie Hinton, 67, of Carrollton, TX passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 14, 2018 from complications of chemo for her lung cancer.

Vickie was born in Dallas, TX on April 13, 1951. Vickie graduated from R.L. Turner High School in the class of 1969. Through her childhood she attended Jacqueline's School of Dance participating in jazz, tap, and ballet to later become a Bomberette and Lionette.

Vickie continued her education with North Texas State University where she became a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She worked as an administrative assistant and retired from Hewlett-Packard after 23 years of service. Vickie was usually found spending her free time gardening, shopping, or cheering on the Cowboys. She always carried a contagious smile, kind heart and caring spirit.

Vickie is survived by her step-dad, Gary Berryhill, her brother, Keith Hinton, her sister-in-law Kim Hinton, and her niece, Kristy Hinton. She was predeceased by her parents Loyd Hinton and Dotty Berryhill.
A visitation service will be held at 6:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Rhoton Funeral Home at Crosby and I-35 of Carrollton, TX. A graveside ceremony will be held at Little Elm Cemetery on King Road of Frisco, TX at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 18th, 2018.
