Billy Ray Adney, longtime Keefeton area resident died Thursday September 13, 2018 at his home. He was 67.

Billy was born on June 16, 1951 in Dover, AR the son of Allie Curtis “AC” and Jewel (Casey) Adney. He grew up in Vian, OK and graduated from high school there. He moved to the Keefeton area in 1970. Billy met his future wife Paula Greb at the Dairy Delight in Keefeton that her parents owned. They were married on June 6, 1975 at the Buckhorn Baptist Church. He worked in construction for many years.

Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing and reloading. He loved spending time with his special daughter, Shelby. He was a friend to all and would help anyone that needed it.

Surviving are his special daughter, Shelby Lane, two sister, Lou Villers and husband Dave and Kathy Greb and husband Paul; three brothers, Lesley Adney and wife Maudie, Hairl Adney and wife Audrey and Terry Adney and wife Teresa; two special nieces Brandy Greb and Sandra Yarbrough; six nephews, Jason, Mack, Chris, Daniel, Coby and Tyler; seven nieces, Mary, Jessica, Lisa, Jennifer, Amanda, Tiffany and Tracy; and his mother Jewel Adney.

He was preceded in death by his wife Paula and his father AC Adney.
