Sweat Dave was killed in a bad car weck. He left family and freinds that miss him so much. Rest in God's peace.Former Soldotna resident David Curtis Headberg died Saturday, May 5, 2007. He was 19.

A prayer service and visitation was held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 7, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today, May 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 10 at the Prairie Rose Funeral Homer in Anthony, Kan.

Mr. Headberg was born Jan. 15, 1988 in Soldotna to Jeff and Diane Kastens Headberg.

He worked at Headberg Construction Company and Ozark Mountain Woodsmith. He loved four-wheeling and all-terrain vehicles. Mr. Headberg was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Mary Headberg; and uncle, David Headberg.

Mr. Headberg is survived by his parents, Jeff and Diane Headberg of West Plains, Mo.; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Jamie McGuigan and their children, Kyles and Addyson, of Springfield, Mo.; grandparents, Howard and Jeannie Kastens of Anthony, Kan., many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special adopted family, Ty and Mel Jolliff and Nate and Logan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christos House or Make a Wish Foundation and mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main, West Plains, Mo. 65775.
