Donald T. Bikkie, 85, of Brainerd, died at his home on August 1, 2018 surrounded by his family. He served in the USAF, worked at Potlatch 37 years and was a police officer for the cities of Pequot Lakes and Pine River. In retirement he drove school bus for Reichert. During the 60's Don was an active member in AA with 55 years of sobriety living "One Day at a Time" and sponsoring others. His passions included flying, boating, motorcycles and traveling in their motorhome.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jane; his son, Andy; daughters, Ruth Hines, Susan (Joe) Lachelt, and Karen Crawford; brother, Dr. James Bikkie of Moscow, Idaho; nieces, Ann and Patty; 7 cousins; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and his dog, Topper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Edna; son, Steve; grandsons, Steven Jr. and Matthew.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Prince of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church, Baxter, MN, with Pastor Gregg Coop officiating. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with a luncheon following the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home of Pequot Lakes.
